Banana, Walnut, Bread Pudding

BW Bread pudding

Banana Walnut Bread Pudding
Ingredients

12 slices of bread cubed
1 cup of milk
1 cup of heavy cream
1 cup of sugar
1/2+ cup of packed brown sugar
3 eggs
2 egg yolks
2 ripe bananas smashed
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts

Direction
-Turn crock pot on high.
-Cube bread and toast. Ok you don’t haaaaaaave to toast it, but its so much better when you toast the bread. It stops it from becoming one mushy glob and gives some texture to the mix. So toast the bread, or if you have stale bread just use that.
-Mix all other ingredients together, leaving bread for last.
Pour in crook pot.
-Cook on high for 1.5 hours, then low for an additional 30-60 minutes.
-Serve alone, with caramel sauce, or ice cream… Or both! Yum!

Ok I have to be honest on this one… I def prefer it in the oven… First of all it cooks quicker and gets a yummy crunchy top. Don’t get me wrong it was still good, but I have to vote oven for this recipe going forward.
